GINGER (CL)

GINGER (CL)

Category: Non-Riding Companion
Age: 6
Gender: Mare
Height: 15

Breed: Quarter Horse

Bio: Ginger is a sweet, gentle mare that I bought a few months ago with the intention of breaking her to ride. Her previous owner had used her as a broodmare and as a result she is currently not yet started under saddle. She has very good ground manners and stands at around 15 hands high, though she can be slightly head shy at times and can be a bit spooky. She has two club feet in the front with her left being slightly worse than her right, however she is sound and with the proper farrier work and corrective shoeing. She is an extremely loving and wonderful horse to be around, is safe to pick up all four feet, has no bad habits such as biting or kicking, and absolutely loves children. She ground ties, leads, loads in the trailer, and will stand for the farrier, though she is still slightly impatient at times since she is still learning. I absolutely adore this beautiful mare and she’s already come so far in her ground work training. It breaks my heart to have to re-home her, however at this time I am unable to provide her with the proper corrective shoeing that she needs due to the financial costs. I want to give my sweet girl the best possible future with someone she can love until the end of her days. If you’d be interested in coming out to meet this sweet, amazing and wonderful girl, or if you have any further questions about her, please call or text me, or reach me by email and I'll be happy to reply as soon as possible.
