Bio: Finnegan loves to be groomed! He is top-dog in our herd of 3, but he lets up once he establishes authority. He has never offered to buck while I or our grandkids ride him. He is definitely way more whoa than go. His left front leg has a big knee. It doesn't seem to bother him other than the rare occasional give while riding him, but he recovers nicely. We had it x-rayed last year. Our vet said it looks like he was probably kicked, and it healed on its own without being treated. Finnegan loads and unloads beautifully! He picks up his front feet fine for the farrier and allows me to pick them. He is arthritic and has difficulty picking up his back feet. We just recently started giving him joint supplements and it seems to be helping. He has lived with us for a little over a year and we have seen so many changes in this sweet boy! Finnegan had his teeth floated and full vaccines about a year ago. Our farrier is out every 8 weeks to trim his feet. Finnegan is a proud prancing, petite-faced sweetheart. Located in Montrose, CO.
