Story
At just four years old, Vanya was training to become a show jumper. Her days were filled with purpose and promise. Then everything changed.
An evaluation revealed she was missing a disc in her spine, ending her jumping career before it truly began.
At the same time, her owner was facing major life changes and couldn’t afford the specialized care Vanya needed. “I didn’t want to list her as ‘free’ and risk her falling into the wrong hands.”
That’s when Colorado Horse Rescue stepped in.
Today, this sweet, affectionate mare is safe, comfortable, and waiting for the right person to love her just as she is.
