Prior to law school, Margrit completed a dual major in Zoology and Equine Science at Colorado State University, after which she worked at a Thoroughbred breeding farm and an equine veterinary hospital in Kentucky. Margrit also served on the Board of the Colorado Horse Council and has served on its Legislative and Regulatory Committee. She has a strong passion for horses and helping the people who care for them.
