Bio: Personality plus!! Due to a heart murmur and irregular cardiac rhythm, Alonso is looking for a long-term non-riding home. Alonso has gained great groundwork skills while at the rescue and gets along well with other horses - especially other young, playful colts and fillies. Alonso has an affinity for liberty work, and we will continue to teach him fun tricks and ground skills while he waits to find his people.
Handler Experience: Companion/Advanced - Able to read subtle cues from a horse on the ground and recognize unsafe situations. Can handle and correct frequent and/or severe spooking or misbehaving on the ground.
