Dive into the excitement of creating horse-inspired artwork with artists Richard Rodriguez and Beth Rouland! Get hands-on with live drawing and painting sessions where you will get the chance to draw inspiration from our herd.

Once you have created a foundation for your piece, learn to spice up your artwork with abstract shapes that add zest and intrigue.

Limited to 15 attendees, this workshop combines outdoor horse observation with indoor class activities. Join Richard and Beth for a uniquely engaging artistic adventure and discover your signature style!

About Artist Richard Rodriguez 

Nationally recognized, award-winning artist Richard Rodriguez grew up west of Denver, where he still resides. Richard’s love of horses and all things western gave him a strong foundation for his ideas. He has studied art and architecture at the University of Colorado and Art Students League of Denver. In a recent article published in Southwest Art magazine, the author discloses that “Richard revels in the fleeting beauty of the overlooked that delivers unexpected grace to the everyday.”

About Artist Elizabeth Rouland

Elizabeth Rouland is a painter and printmaker from Loveland, Colorado and ever enthralled with interpreting the world around her through color and texture. She received her BA in art from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She was the recipient of the ‘Most Original Award of Excellence’ in the 2022 Oil Painters of America Western Regional Exhibition in Dallas, Texas. She is an instructor at the Curtis Center for the Arts in Greenwood Village, Colorado, teaching oil painting, as well as the co-founder of the art collective, Of Chaos and Order (OCAO).
