Proof of Potential

CHR Horses Make Their Mark at CSU

Recently, our training team took three CHR horses, Corazón, Paisley, and Bristol, for the Ranch Schooling Show at the Colorado State University Equine Center! These three showed up and showed out, competing in both in-hand and under-saddle classes.

For Corazón, Paisley, and Bristol, this event wasn’t just a competition — it was a major milestone in their training journeys. Each of them has made remarkable progress through our program, and this show gave them a chance to shine outside of their everyday environment. It also gave our team a chance to continue building trust, communication, and experience with each horse in a dynamic and supportive setting.

Events like this remind us of something powerful: rescue horses aren’t defined by their pasts. With time, care, and the right support, they can achieve just as much as any other horse. Corazón, Paisley, and Bristol are living proof of that potential — and we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate their progress.

A huge thank you to Alex Parsaye and the entire Legends of Ranching program at CSU for hosting such a well-run and meaningful event. We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to learn, grow, and represent CHR in the arena.
