Welcome to the Team

Jess and Allie!

Our team is growing and so is our impact! Colorado Horse Rescue is thrilled to welcome two passionate new faces to our herd: Jess, our new Donor Relations Associate, and Allie, our new Equine Care Specialist. Each brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and heart to our mission of creating a better world for horses.

Meet Jess
Jess With six years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and a Professional Science    Master’s in Zoo, Aquarium, and Animal Shelter Management, Jess has built her career around connecting people with meaningful causes. At CHR, she plays a key role in building relationships with donors and supporters who share our vision for a world where every horse is safe, healthy, and loved.

Outside of work, Jess’s love for animals and nature continues to shine. You’ll often find her exploring Colorado’s trails, searching for wildflowers and birds, or cozying up at home with her pets after a day spent making a difference.

Meet Allie
Allie ArnoldOriginally from Fort Worth, Texas, Allie came to Colorado in 2018 to pursue her passion for horses at Colorado State University, where she earned her degree in Equine Science. Since graduating in 2023, she’s honed her skills in equine management, caring for pregnant mares.

Allie’s journey with CHR started long before she joined our team. She adopted her horse Havana from CHR in 2021 through the CSU Right Horse Program. Now, as an Equine Care Specialist, she’s come full circle, caring for the horses who are still waiting for their own second chance.

When she’s not at CHR, Allie enjoys spending time with her two cats and Havana, her favorite way to unwind.”

A Growing Team, A Shared Mission

From the barn to the office, every member of the CHR team plays an essential role in helping horses find hope and new beginnings. Jess and Allie bring fresh perspectives, deep compassion, and the kind of energy that keeps our mission moving forward.

Join us in giving them both a warm welcome!

Hang tight while we go get your horse!
