Bio: Sky is the limit for this adorable pony! Taco loves liberty work and learning tricks. He is thriving under saddle after gaining a refresher in training, and has even started popping over cross rails.
Taco went through a rehabilitation program at CHR upon arrival, working through lameness in his front feet due to poor hoof care and nutrition. Now, Taco is strong and sound and ready to take on the world! He is currently managed with wedged shoes on his front feet. With good care, he is sound under saddle and living in a large pasture.
Handler Experience: Intermediate - Has a working knowledge of horse behavior and herd dynamics, and is able to catch, halter, lead, and saddle safely. Has a working knowledge of the basics of movement on the ground, and is comfortable and balanced in the saddle at all gaits.
